Brand identity, nonprofit graphic design, communications

Human Connections is a nonprofit organization on México's Pacific Coast that connects local people with international travelers through cultural tours and student programs. Graphic design was not part of my original job description when I arrived in 2017 as Communications Manager, but it quickly became clear that a strong brand identity and creative graphic elements could not only make the organization beautiful but also support our mission and better serve our community.

The challenge was to create a new brand identity and marketing materials that utilize the original logo and colors of HC, and to communicate a LOT of information about the organization and its activities, often in both Spanish and English.
